Meehan Drilling was awarded the contract to drill 2 x 300mm boreholes to 100m for groundwater extraction. The first extraction borehole was drilled to 100m and the second borehole was drilled to 150m for groundwater re-injection. These boreholes were used to extract water from the underground which in turn was used to heat part of the hospital.
